Voith supplied a new machine set for unit No. 2 consisting of vertical Kaplan turbine and generator, including the electrical and mechanical power station equipment together with the automation system. The turbine runner alone weighs 221 tons and has a diameter of nine meters. The max. output of the new turbine is 65 MW. The installed capacity of the hydroelectric power station was increased by 10 MW. The modernized unit No. 2 was commissioned in 2010.
