Voith Paper: Neman Cellulose and Paper Mill, LLC and Voith Paper Automation have concluded a service contract for the process and quality control system and the information system of the PM 9 New Service Contract for Automation System on the Neman PM 9 Neman Cellulose and Paper Mill, LLC and Voith Paper Automation have concluded a service contract for the process and quality control system - including; sensors, CD and MD profile controls - and the information system of the PM 9. The services combine several modules which can be individually adapted to meet customer’s requirements. The “Preventive Maintenance” module guarantees Neman a service representative from Voith Paper Automation for three days per month, who will check the automation systems directly on site. Thereby actively countering malfunctions and ensuring the optimum operation of the systems. Furthermore, Neman can now rely on three modules for troubleshooting: with the “Telephone Support” module, operators of the PM 9 are supported around the clock by experienced service personnel via telephone, in order to be able to identify problems and offer suggested solutions. The “Remote Diagnostics” module goes a step farther. At the customer’s request, service representatives from Voith Paper Automation can log into the automation system via an on-line connection in order to check the current status, remedy malfunctions, or carry out optimizations. “Remote Diagnostics” allows fast, targeted service support and leads to high availability of the Voith automation system. Finally, with “Emergency on Call”, Voith Paper Automation guarantees that a service representative is on call. In the event of an emergency, the service person will arrive at the plant within the agreed timeframe, in order to support the customer on-site and eliminate the cause of the malfunctions. The Neman Cellulose and Paper Mill, LLC paper factory belongs to the North-West Timber Company corporate group and is headquartered in St. Petersburg, Russia.
