Voith Paper has been selected to supply critical equipment to six tissue deinking plants, including upgrades at von Drehle Corporation, Cordova, NC, USA, ST Paper, Oconto Falls, WI, USA and a new complete deinking system to Fabrica de Papel San Francisco in Mexicali, Mexico.

Voith Paper is supplying state-of-the-art equipment in all areas of the fiber preparation process including:

  • MultiFoil Rotor and C-bar Basket Screening Technology - assuring the highest quality tissue and the highest stickies removal efficiency in the industry.

  • EcoMizer Technology – the energy saving solution for fine cleaning systems.

  • Compact Washer - the customizable washer suited to solve even the most specific deashing or thickening application for the preparation of pulp for tissue.

  • EcoDirect Dispersion - The energy efficient disk disperger for the detachment of ink particles from fibers and the reduction of the size of the remaining ink particles and stickies.

The reason for entrusting Voith with the supply of all six deinking plants was excellent references around the world as well as Voith’s advanced core processes of cleaning, screening, dispersion, washing and flotation technologies.

The Voith Paper Fiber Systems for Tissue strategy is to provide the optimum operating efficiency for the removal of printing inks and stickies at minimum specific energy consumption and virtually negligible fiber losses.
