Dr. Ralf Geßlein becomes new member of Voith Turbo’s board of management
- Dr. Ralf Geßlein succeeds Martin Kaufmann and takes over as Head of the Industry Division in the Turbo Group Division.

HEIDENHEIM, GERMANY. Since May 01, 2022, Dr. Ralf Geßlein has been in charge of the Industry Division as a member of the corporate board of management of Voith Turbo. He succeeds Martin Kaufmann, who will leave the company at his own request on June 30, 2022 to take on a new professional challenge.
Dr. Gesslein studied electrical engineering (specializing in power engineering) at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich and received his doctorate in control engineering. From 2005, he worked for Siemens in various functions, including Vice President Product Management Large Drives Industry, Senior Vice President Drive Systems and Executive Vice President Oil & Gas and Process Industries. Most recently, as CEO, he was responsible for Siemens' global wind generator business, which he integrated into the Flender Group in 2020 and successfully continued.
