The #VoithCares program
As a company, being socially responsible is in our DNA and is an important part of Voith's corporate culture. Through donations and sponsorships, we support science and research related to sustainable technologies; education for children; and training for adolescents, young adults and those who are disadvantaged. Many of our employees also personally volunteer and contribute their knowledge, energy and time to social projects.
Voith supports your personal volunteer work. Through the #VoithCares program, we are supporting 12 selected social projects by our employees in the 25/26 financial year with a donation of 4,000 EUR.
Project eligibility
- In fiscal year 2025/26, Voith and the Hanns Voith Foundation support 12 selected social projects worldwide with a financial donation.
- The 2025/26 application period starts in July and ends on September 30, 2025. Following the application period, projects will be selected by a committee and the decision will be communicated to the applicants in December.
- Projects should contribute to Voith’s DNA, "sustainable technologies for future generations". Therefore, they must cover at least one of the following focus areas: digitalization, technology, innovation, decarbonization (CO2 reduction, environmental protection), or social purposes.
- Projects must support children, young adults or those who are socially disadvantaged.
- Sports projects will be considered if they support the education of the young generation, but preference will be given to projects that have a strong link to our DNA (see criteria above).
- Voith employees who submit projects must be personally involved in their project through voluntary work. In addition, applicants must be active Voith employees at the time of the donation.
- The project must be carried out through an existing non-profit organization. Official proof of this (e.g., the association's registration number in the respective country) must be uploaded during the application process.
- The donation needs to be in accordance with our Donation and Sponsorship Group Directive, i.e., donations to private individuals or political parties are completely excluded.
- The implementation of your project will be financially supported by Voith with a donation of 4,000 EUR (equivalent in local currency).
- In case your project has already received a donation from Voith, this must be indicated in the application process. Please explain why another donation is appropriate and for what purpose.
- Each project will be documented by text and images/video. The organization must also allow Voith to communicate about the selected projects internally in the VoithNet as well as externally on our website and on social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook and/or Instagram.
