The #VoithCares program
As a company, being socially responsible is in our DNA and is an important part of Voith's corporate culture. Through donations and sponsorships, we support science and research related to sustainable technologies; education for children; and training for adolescents, young adults and those who are disadvantaged. Many of our employees also personally volunteer and contribute their knowledge, energy and time to social projects.

Project eligibility
- In fiscal year 2026/27, Voith and the Hanns Voith Foundation will support 13 selected projects worldwide with a financial donation, creating benefits for people and communities worldwide and generating CSR visibility in the anniversary year 2027 (160 years Voith).
- The total #VoithCares program donation amounts to 50,000 EUR.
12 projects will receive 3,000 EUR each.
One additional project will receive a sponsorship of 14,000 EUR.
The final selection of this flagship project will take place via online voting by our colleagues, following a pre-selection of the #VoithCares committee. - The application period starts in July and ends on September 30, 2026. Following the application period, projects will be selected by a committee, and the decision will be communicated to the applicants in December.
- Projects must contribute to the following United Nations Global Compact Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which Voith has committed itself to.
- SDG 3 Good Health and Wellbeing
- SDG 4 Quality Education
- SDG 13 Climate Action
- Applications can be submitted by Voith employees only. Applicants must be active Voith employees at the time of the donation.
- Projects must involve personal engagement OR be linked to a local Voith site.
- Projects should prioritize children and young people, or disadvantaged people.
- Sports projects will only be considered if they support the education of the young generation, but preference will be given to projects that have a strong link to our SDGs.
- The project must be carried out through an existing non-profit organization. Official proof of this (e.g., the association's registration number in the respective country) must be uploaded during the application process.
- The donation needs to be in accordance with our Donation and Sponsorship Group Directive, i.e., donations to private individuals or political parties are completely excluded.
- Each project will be documented by text and images/video. The organization must also allow Voith to communicate about the selected projects internally in the VoithNet as well as externally on our website and on social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook and/or Instagram.
- In case your project has already received a donation from Voith, this must be indicated in the application process. Please explain why another donation is appropriate and for what purpose.
- Each project will be documented by text and images/video. The organization must also allow Voith to communicate about the selected projects internally in the VoithNet as well as externally on our website and on social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram or YouTube.
