JIANGXI, CHINA / KUNSHAN, CHINA. Wuzhou Special Paper Group has selected Voith to retrofit the press section of its PM 19 paper machine at its Jiangxi facility. At the heart of the project is Voith’s innovative DuoCentri Press with Center Belt – a solution developed to meet demanding production requirements. The retrofit is designed to enhance operational reliability and boost overall production performance.

The upgraded machine produces high-grade specialty papers. Unlike conventional press sections with open draws, the production line in the new configuration will feature a closed web run between the press and dryer sections, significantly reducing the risk of sheet breaks and improving runability. At the same time, the operating window will be expanded, which enhances the paper machine’s high-speed performance and offers greater flexibility for stable operations.

Wuzhou Special Paper chose Voith for its technical expertise, extensive rebuild experience and close collaboration throughout the project planning phase.
