APPLETON,  MENASHA, Wis. (Aug. 20, 2026) – Voith is proud to award the Community Clothes Closet, in Menasha, Wis., with a $4,000  #VoithCares donation to support the Cool for School program, which helps children begin the school year with properly fitting clothing and shoes, giving them confidence while reducing financial stress for their families. The $4,000 #VoithCares donation will provide complete back-to-school outfits and shoes for 80 children.

“A new outfit and a pair of properly fitting shoes may seem simple, but for a child, they can mean walking into school with confidence instead of uncertainty,” said  Karissa Buck, Development Director, Community Clothes Closet. “We're incredibly thankful to Voith for investing in our Cool for School program and helping ensure more children start the school year feeling prepared, valued, and ready to succeed.”

The #VoithCares program was launched in 2022. Through the program, Voith gives back to nonprofits while also supporting the volunteer efforts of Voith employees who personally donate their time. In the 2025/2026 fiscal year, 12 nonprofits from around the world received donations.

While volunteering with my Voith colleagues at the Community Clothes Closet, we saw how grateful those who receive the help are and how dedicated the nonprofit is to serving thousands in need. We’re proud that Voith is supporting the Cool for School program, especially after our community was so significantly impacted by the recent tornado.

About the #VoithCares program

As part of the #VoithCares program, Voith and the Hanns Voith Foundation annually award financial support to a select number of employee-nominated projects and nonprofits, in which the employees also personally volunteer. Nominated projects must fall into the categories of digitalization; technology, innovation and decarbonization; or social causes. Projects selected benefit children, youth, young adults or those who are disadvantaged. Through the #VoithCares program, the company supports both employees and nonprofits in the communities Voith serves around the world and encourages colleagues to volunteer in their local communities so we can make the world a little better – together. #VoithCares - Social Responsibility | Voith
