Turbo Retarder Clutch VIAB
VIAB combines turbo coupling and retarder in one hydrodynamic circuit. The coupling offers a high degree of driving comfort thanks to hydrodynamic start-up and maneuvering. The integrated primary retarder allows maximum braking power, even at low speeds.

Mercedes-Benz Actros SLT
All 40 prime movers in the TSB fleet are fitted with Mercedes-Benz drivetrain and Turbo Retarder Clutch VIAB. This allows extremely precise maneuvering and moving off at consistently low operating temperatures, even at low speed and under heavy loads.
Small turbine transports big stator.
The stator transported for us on a heavy-duty truck across Germany from our plant in Heidenheim to the hydropower station in Töging am Inn was a gigantic 8.2 meters wide and weighed 105 metric tons.

TSB regularly transports heavy goods for Voith. The components for hydropower plants or paper machines it transports often weigh several hundred metric tons and frequently have to be transported over rough terrain to remote plants.
