      Groove measurements on a shoe press sleeve

      The inspection of shoe press sleeves is an important service during the whole runtime. With our Surface Scanner, groove dimension measurements on a shoe press sleeve are carried out during a shutdown. The measured values, such as groove depth, width and land width, offer information about the remaining lifetime, product condition and product performance on the machine.

        With QualiFlex QSoft, Voith offers a shoe press sleeve for tissue machines with outstanding properties such as abrasion, heat and chemical resistance. It has already successfully proven these properties in very demanding tissue machines where it achieves exceptionally long runtimes.

        QRun

        Optimized impact resistance for your board, packaging and pulp machine

        With QualiFlex QRun, Voith offers a shoe press sleeve that reacts stable to compressions. The result: fewer failures of shoe press sleeves. The improved elasticity of QualiFlex QRun guarantees high durability and thus reduces cracks and their propagation. These two properties ensure longer and reproducible running times.

        CrestT and CrownT for Tissue

        Ultimate dewatering designed specifically for your tissue machine

        With CrestT and CrownT Voith offers two superior press sleeves for tissue shoe press applications which enable to obtain stable machine operating conditions and efficiency. Selected polyurethane materials ensure the highest possible abrasion resistance under challenging temperature condition. Open area and void volume can be designed exactly to your needs.

        QualiFlex CrestT

        QualiFlex CrestT for tissue machines shows very good material properties regarding wear resistance and performance stability. It features the proven structure and performs reliably even under the harsh conditions of a tissue shoe press.

        QualiFlex CrownT

        QualiFlex CrownT is based on a well-proven concept as well, with excellent abrasion resistance properties. The special heat resistant material formulation makes this press sleeve the perfect choice for very demanding applications.

        CrestC and CrownC for Pulp

        Excellent dewatering, tailored to your pulp machines

        With Voith you have the option: QualiFlex CrestC for longest lifetime and QualiFlex CrownC for longest lifetime with tailored void volume for optimum dewatering of your pulp machine. Both sleeves set the industry benchmark for lifetime. For ultimate dewatering performance, QualiFlex CrownC is recommended with its unique blind-drilled surface.

        QualiFlex CrestC

        Through its smooth surface, the focus of QualiFlex CrestC is on high and reliable lifetime. The one-layer design using high quality polyurethane reduces the risk of delamination and the occurrence of cracks to a minimum.

        QualiFlex CrownC

        For ultimate dewatering performance, QualiFlex CrownC is recommended with its unique blind drilled surface. It temporarily stores more water than any conventional sleeve. This surface design prevents water backflow in generally slow running pulp machines.
